2. Style & Pricing Information
Custom Indian-Style Shirts to 5X, Collared Shirts to 3X
Ribbon shirts are proper attire for just about anyone; men & women,
Indian & non-Indian. They are worn with slacks, jeans & skirts at "Indian doin's" everywhere.
Custom shirts are priced according to the labor time involved in the designs.
We make "Indian style" shirts to 5X. Original "Indian style"
shirts are constructed entirely from
squares & rectangles, which were originally torn from cotton
fabric, before scissors were widely available. Indian-style shirts
are often worn by men dancers, so our yokes are doubled for
stablity when pinning regalia items into place.
We make collared shirts to 3X. Contemporary shirts have collars
& set-in sleeves, and are the same price as Indian-style shirts.
Indian clothes fit loose, so allow 4-5" of "wearing ease" in chest measurements for proper fit.
Hem length is measured from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the hem.
Sleeve length is measured from the center back of the neck to the bottom of the cuff.
